Le fonds de financement de la protection complémentaire de la couverture universelle du risque maladie présente sa première année d'activité après sa mise en place en cours de l'année 2000. Le fonds propose des données à la fois quantitatives (bénéficiaires de la CMU, structure et niveau des dépenses) et qualitative (application de la loi, mesures pour atténuer l'effet de seuil). Le fonds revient également sur ses autres activités : l'information (la lettre d'information et le site internet : www.cmu.fr), l'équipe du fonds et le fonctionnement administratif.
